About Tamara Downs 

Tamara is passionate about bridging diverse mindsets and cultures in order to achieve contextualized and sustainable efforts globally. This passion is fueled by her relationships with people around the world who have shown her that no one culture is better than the other, it is simply just different. As a result, she is committed to the belief that creating systems which foster and incorporate diverse perspectives can ultimately improve overall outcomes for global companies.

Tamara holds a Masters of Science in Organization Development from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Northwest University. She published “Exploring Cultural Boundary Spanning Functions in MNCs” in which she shows that leadership cultures and social networks are at the heart of an organizations’ capacity to work cross-culturally. Her global experience includes working in South Korea, Japan, India, England, France, Australia, Canada, Costa Rica, Tanzania, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Liberia, and across the United States of America.
